DIGITAL PR
Digital PR is a European initiative co-funded by the Erasmus+ program. Its main aims are improving the quality and attractiveness of VET education by reinforcing self-assessment and peer assessment competencies for managers and trainers and building a Community of Practice among VET institutions and professionals implementing the European Peer Review methodology.
This 24-month project involving 5 partners from Italy, Belgium,Portugal, and Lithuania supports the efforts to promote and facilitate the adjustment of existing learning programmes to provide the skills needed as part of the digital and green transitions, and for teaching staff to be trained on these subjects.
The idea behind the project is that training on environmental responsibility and climate awareness should be included as part of vocational education and training.
Objectives
The project’s main objectives are:
- Improve the quality and attractiveness of VET education by reinforcing self-assessment and peer assessment competencies for managers and trainers.
This will be reached by:
- improving the competencies of the VET professionals on the European Peer Review methodology for a green and digital Europe
- implementing the Peer Review methodology to support the VET sector contribution to a Green and Digital Europe
- Build a community of practice among VET institutions and professionals implementing the European Peer Review methodology. This will be reached by:
- improving the relevance of the European Peer Review methodology for the current vet scenario, by revising tools and quality indicators
- facilitating the implementation of Peer Review at a national and transnational level, by creating a virtual community
To achieve these goals, the partnershipintends to train VET professionals on the Peer review methodology, afterwardsconduct Peer Reviews, applying the methodology and using the digital platformdeveloped, and carrying out Peer learning workshops and meta-reflections.
Learning programmes will be provided with:
- Manual of digital Peer forVET in different languages and a multilingual digital platform
- Impact assessment report
- Training kit with guidelines and recommendations
- Community of practice
