BIM Fundamentals Course

The “Logics and Foundations of BIM” course provided by GIOVE In Formatica srl in partnership with FORMA.Action srl is the ideal base for those looking to approach BIM (Building Information Modeling).

The course is totally theoretical and provides the basis for understanding the logic, characteristics, applications and operation of the BIM method.

The course allows you to take the exam to obtain the BuildingSmart International Qualification. The contents focus on the correct acquisition of knowledge of the method and terminology:

• Understand What is BIM, because it is necessary to recognize its specific terminology;
• Recognize the advantages of BIM compared to the delivery of the traditional project;
• Understand the information development cycle in the project (and its key terms), in particular how information is specified, produced, exchanged and maintained during a project;
• Recognize the need for open solutions and interoperable;
• Identify the capacity of an organization in working with BIM.
