BIRGIT
BIRGIT is a 36-month Erasmus+ initiative, implemented by 9 organizations based in Sweden, Italy, Belgium, Spain and Croatia, under the coordination of the Swedish Council for Higher Education.
Objective
The main objective of the project is to develop interdisciplinary training courses that provide students and students with the necessary skills for effective BIM-GIS integration, improving the current offer in the field of vocational education and training.
The combination of these two technologies will provide the public and private sectors with new approaches to urban planning, design and asset management.
Activities
The project is structured based on four main activities:
- survey on market needs (in each participating country) to specify the desired learning objectives;
- adaptation in different languages And all national material requirements of existing GIS/BIM training at participating professional training institutions;
- Development of new Skill courses and specific skills, which will be used by training institutions to improve the quality of their vocational education and training programs;
- evaluation and verification of courses developed and related learning outcomes in the context of real training actions conducted by participating organizations.
